1. n. A bruise or sore.Fif. 1896 "G. Setoun" R. Urquhart ii.:
She has a bit dink i' the aff hent hoof.

2. v. To dent, bruise, bash.Per. 1930 (per Fif.17):
A joiner's motto: "Dink yer nails; don't dink yer fingers."
