CULES, n.pl. “Buttocks” (Jam.2), but ? = testicles (see etym. note below).Abd. 1825 Jam.2:
Clap a carle on the cules, and he'll drite i' your lufe.

[Fr. cul, from Lat. culus, the buttocks. In use in Eng. only in sing. form up to 16th cent. (N.E.D.). Ray's version of the above (Proverbs (1855) 133), however, has culls (see Cull, n.2).]
