BOOSHOOSE, n. A farm-house or manor-house.Ork.(D) 1880 Dennison Orcad. Sk. Bk. 61:
They hed a geud booshoose, an' needed no' wanted for onyt'ing.

[Bu, the principal house of a district or property (Dennison Gloss.). Jak., s.v. bu, gives it as manor, from O.N. , a dwelling. Cf. Boo, n.6]
