BLINNERS, n.pl. Blinkers. N.E.D. gives blinders in this sense as chiefly U.S. [′blɪnərz, ′blɪ̢nərz]Abd.4 1930; Bnff.2, Lnk.3 1935:
The cairtin' saiddle has attached to it — the “draucht” . . . then the “bridle” and the blinners.
