BLEG, Bleget, adj. Of colour: light and drab, esp. of sheep or sheep's wool.Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
A b[leg] colour, yowe, a b[leg]-faced lamb or yowe.

[Jak. gives also bleget.] [O.N. bleikr, pale, whitish (Zoëga); cogn. with Eng. bleak, O.E. blāc, pale; O.N. k (final or intervocalic) gen. becomes g in Sh. (See Jak. Intro. lv.)]
