BLACK SIGHT, n. Curse. Often used as an imprecation.Ork.(D) 1904 Dennison Orcad. Sk. 4:
We tried a' we could tae ca' the fish, bit black sight on dem gin dey wad shak' a fin.

Hence blacksightfu', adj., cursed.Ork.(D) 1880 Dennison Orcad. Sk. Bk. 111:
'Deed hid's no' sic' a aisy speil . . . Tae waken thee or mak' thee hear, Sae fu' o the blacksightfu' sweer [laziness].
