BIGNESS, n. As in St.Eng. except in the following special sense. See also Big, adj., 2.Uls. 1904 J. W. Byers in Vict. Coll. Mag. 41:
Of a person currying favour in expectation of a benefit, a neighbour will remark: “There's a great bigness between the cow and the haystack. ‘Bigness' in this sense means friendship or intimacy.”
