BEMILDED, adj. (See quot.) [bi′mɪldəd]Ork. 1929 Marw.:
"I'm sittan here fairly (completely) bemilded" — i.e. sitting regardless of the necessity of going, without energy or initiative to get up and go.

[Origin uncertain but N.E.D. gives an obs. v. mild, to make mild or gentle, evidently derived from mild, adj.; O.E. has mildian, to become mild.]
