1. Bean-hool, a bean pod or hull. See Hool.Sc. 1818 Scott H. Midlothian xviii.:
He shall hide himself in a bean-hool, if he remains on Scottish ground without my finding him.

2. Bean-shaup, an empty bean pod. Se Shaup.

3. Bean-swaup. The hull of a bean (Sc. 1825 Jam.2). See Swap.
