BAUCHNESS, n. Dullness; want or defect of any kind.Per. 1898 G.W. in E.D.D.:
Not common A curler is asked, 'Was your ice good today?' He might say, 'No, there was a bauchness about it ' A joiner might say, 'I cannot put up with bauchness in my tools'
