ANNASTER, ANNESTER, n. (See quot.) (Also: annaset, annesed; anyester Edm. Gl.)Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
Annaset, annester [etc.]: (1) lamb in its second year or two years old; young ewe which has not yet had a lamb, (2) the second lamb of a ewe, the second calf of a cow.
