Wovin, -yn, ppl. adj. Also: woven, wowin(g, -yn, vovin, -ein, -an, vowin, wol(e)vin, wolvyne, volvin(e, -een, wolfin, woffin, weffin, wefen, vaffin, weff. [e.m.E. wouen (1560).] Woven, made by weaving. There is ambiguity with some forms of Wollin adj. Some examples may belong there, and vice versa. b. Vovin on, attached during the process of weaving or by a method similar to weaving. c. fig.
