Tyrit, Tirit, ppl. adj. Also: tyryt, -et, tyred, -yd, tyrd, tyrrit. [e.m.E. tyred (1523), tired (Shakespeare); Tyr(e v.1 See also Fortyrit p.p.]

1. a. Exhausted by physical exertion, hunger, etc., fatigued; sleepy.predic. ?1438 Alex. ii 603.
