Superflew, adj., adv. and n. Also: -flewe, -fleu, -flu(e. [ME and e.m.E. superflu(e (Wyclif), superfleu (c1400), OF superflu (13th c. in Larousse), late L. superfluus, f. superfluere. Cf. Superfluous adj. (adv.).]
