(Plat,) Platt, v.3 P.p. plattit, also platit. [Sc. alteration, after Plat n.3, of e.m.E. plot v. to make a plan of (1588), to plan or plot (1589).] tr. To plan or devise (something to be carried out); chiefly, to plot (some nefarious action). —(1) 1601 Crim. Trials II. 364.
