Plaiding, Plading, Plyding, Pladding, n. Also: plaideinge and plaid(d)-, playd-, plad(e)-, plyde-, plead-, pleid-, pleyd-, pled(d)ing, -in(e, -yne, -en(e, -ein. [Plaid n.; only Sc., as also in the mod. dial. Cf. Sarking n.]
