[e.m.E. and ME. pecunyal (Chaucer), -yall (1508), -iall (1548), L. pecūniālis, f. pecūnia money.] Consisting of money; exacted in money.Chiefly pecuniall soum, pain(is (also fyne, mulct, penaltie, punishment).(1) 1551 Dundee B.
