Expreme, v. Also: exprime, -preym, -preim, -preem(e, -pream. [ME. exprime (1386), expreme (c 1470), OF. exprimer, L. exprimere. Rare in Eng., but very common in Sc. c 1475–1600.] tr. To express in words; to state, to name.(a) c1450-2 Howlat 138.
