Bon-ac(c)ord, n. Also: bone acorde. [OF. bone acorde good accord, harmony.]

Abbot and Prior (later Lordis) of Bonaccord, two persons elected annually by the town council of Aberdeen, having the office of organizing public sports and entertainments.References to the Lordis of B. are frequent in the printed records of Aberdeen from 1531 to 1552. Their function ‘wes in halding of the gud toun in glaidnes and blythtnes witht danssis, farsiis, playis, and gamis, in tymes convenient’ (1552, I. 280).(1) 1440 Aberd. B. Rec. I. 395.
