Advise, v. Also: advyse, advys (-uys), advyis; adwyse, -wys(s), adwise; adwyce. [Later form of Avise v., corr. to late ME. advyse, etc.]
1. intr. To take counsel; to deliberate, consider. Also refl.(1) 15.. Clariodus iv. 1702 (he with them did advyse); 1908. a1570-86 Maitl.
