Wildirnes, Wyldirnes, n. Also: wilder-, -yr-, vildir-, -er-, wylder-, wyildir-, vylder-, vuldernes, wildirnas. [ME and e.m.E. wildernesse (c1200), wildernes (Cursor M.), wyldernes (Manning), wildirenes (Rolle).]
