Vidimus, n. Also: wedimus. Pl. vidimuses, videmies. [Late ME vidimus (1436), L. vidimus we have seen, f. videre to see.] a. Authentication, verification. b. An authenticated or attested document. c. A thing or state of affairs attesting to the truth of something.a. 1499 Douglas Chart. 172.
