Utmast, -maist, -mest, -most, adj. Also: utmoist, uttmeist, utemaist, wtmest. [ME and e.m.E. vtmast (c1320), uttemast (a1325), utmost (Wyclif), vtmest (1482), OE út(e)mest, rare, chiefly north. varr. of ýt(e)mest.]
