Upricht, -rycht, Wpricht, v. [ME and e.m.E. vpright (Rolle) to raise to an upright position.] tr. In Aberdeen: a. To compensate (a person) (for damage, etc.). b. To compensate for, make good (damage or loss). —a. 1457 Aberd. B. Rec. MS V i 319 (19 Nov.).
