Spraingit, Sprangit, ppl. adj. Also: sprainge(i)t, -ed, -ie, spraingȝet, spraingȝeit(t, sprang(i)et, spranȝed, spreinged, spreinȝeit, sprenged, sprenȝied, spryngeit, springed. [ME sprengid (Wyclif); Spraing v. Cf. Spangit ppl. adj.]Some of the manuscript forms may be misreadings.
