Soveran(e)ly, adv. Also: sov-, sowerandly, sufranely. [ME and e.m.E. soveraynly (Rolle), souerainly (c1375), souerenly (c1400), soueranly (1432), also souerantly (1422), etc.; Soverane adj.] Highly, in the highest degree, supremely; chiefly, above all else.(a) 1375 Barb. xi 316.
