Revestry, -ré, n. Also: ra-, rewest-, -vast- and -rie, -rye. [ME and e.m.E. reuestery, after OF revestiaire (13th c. in Greimas), conformed to vestry.] The vestry of a church.In Perth and Dundee, appar. the usual place for council meetings and transaction of certain official business.Also attrib., and transf.
