Pullion-breeches, Pullen-breeches, n. = Bullioun breikis, ‘trunk-hose, puffed out at the upper part, in several folds’ (OED). (There is perh. some confusion with Polonoyis adj.) — 1661–70 Old Ross-shire I 143.
