Persaving, vbl. n. Also: -saveing, -savyng, -sawing(e, -sawyng(e, -saywyn(g. [Late ME. and e.m.E. perceyvynge (1485), pur- (c 1440).] The action of perceiving, in senses 1–3 of Persave v.; perception; being perceived. Also personified.(1) 1375 Barb. x. 571.
