Ogthiern, Oghtierne, Ochtyern, Ogethearn, Ogettheyrn, Ochiern, n. [Sc. and Ir. Gael. òg-thighearna young lord, chief's son, lordling.] In the early laws, one ranking with the son or grandson of a thane. — 1220 Acts I. 68/1.
