Nuris(s)ar, n. Also: nures(s)-, nuras- and -are, -er, -ear. [Nuris v.: cf. OF. norisere etc. (mod. F. nourisseur) and Nuris(c)her.] One who, also, that which, nourishes (fosters, feeds, promotes etc.).(1) 1456 Hay II. 86/7.
