Newfangilnes, Newfanglenesse, n. [ME. (Chaucer) nuwefangulnesse, e.m.E. newefangylnes, newfangilnes, -fanglenes(se, f. Newfangill a.] Excessive seeking after new fashions, undue desire for novelty, modishness. Also const. of (what is sought after). —(1) a1568 Bann. MS. 80 a/20.
