Middis, n.1 Also: mid(d)es, mid(d)s, midis, myd(d)is, -ys, -es, myd(d)s, myidds, meids, meddes. [ME. (13th c.) and e.m.E. middes, myddes, mids, orig. in the adv. phr. in, on middes, altered f. OE. in, on middan.]
