Memorial(l, n. (adj., adv.) Also: -i(e)al(l)e, -eall, -yal(l, -yalle, memorriall, memorall, -ell. [ME. and e.m.E. memorial(l, -yal(l, n. (1382), adj. (c 1374), preserving the memory of a person or thing, pertaining to memory, etc., OF. memorial, L. memoriālis adj. (neut. memoriāle in late L. also as n.), f. memoria Memory n.]
