Lez, art. (plur.). Also: les, liez. [F. les, plur. of the definite article: cf. Le.] The. Used only with plural nouns in the vernacular (when these occurred in Latin texts). Noted by us only in the following 15–16th c. occurrences. — 1431 Exch. R. IV. 536.
