Ingres, n.1 Also: ingresse. [ME. (rare, c 1420) and e.m.E. (1543–4) ingresse, L. ingressus.]

1. Entry into possession or occupation (of property). Freq. coupled with regres, entres, or acces. 1489 Chart. (Reg. H.) No. 548.
