Communicat, v. Also: -ate, -ait, comun-, comwnicat. [e.m.E. communicate, -ycate (1526), L. commūnicāt-, ppl. stem of commūnicāre.]

1. tr. To impart (information, etc.), to make known. Also absol. 1549 Compl. 116/25.
