Burely, Burly, a. Also: burelie, buir(e)lie, buyrly; burlie, -le. [ME. borelych (e.m.E. boorelye, bourlie), borli, and burliche, burli, of obscure origin.] Finely or stoutly built or made; sturdy, strong.
