Blin, Blyn, v. Also: bline, blyne; p.t. blan (blynnit). [ME. blin (bline), blyn (blyne), early blinnen, OE. blinnan. In both Eng. and Sc. only in poetry, and commonly as a rhyme-word.]

1. intr. To cease, stop, come to a stop or end. a1400 Leg. S. ii. 880.
