Antedate, Antedait, n. Also: antedaite, antidait, antideat. [L. ante ‘before’, and Date n.1 Also in late ME. (1456) and later Eng.] A date earlier than the real or true time. 1483 Acta Aud. *113/2.
It is allegit that the said lettrez are selit with antedatis and procurit selez 1489 Wemyss Chart. 114.
