Analy, Annaly, Annalȝie, v. Also: (a) analie, analey, anale, anelle; also p.p. analit, anelyt. (b) annalie, -y(e, annale, annaillie; also p.p. annalit, annalyt, annaliit, annelit, -ied. (c) annallȝe, annalyie, -ȝie, annailȝe, -ȝie, anelȝie. [Unexplained variant of alien, regular in Sc. use throughout the 15th and 16th c. Cf. Aly v.]
