Hunt, v. Also: hwnt, hont, hount. [ME. hounte (c 1290), honte (13th c.), hunt, hunte(n, early huntien, OE. huntian.] To hunt, go hunting, etc., in various senses and constructions. a. intr. and b. tr.To hunt the glaiks, see Glaikis n. pl. 1 b.For further examples see Halk v., Hawk v.a (1) 1375 Barb. vii. 503.
