Addres(s v. Also: adres(s, adrese (aders); addresse. P.t. and p.p. a(d)dressit, -yt, adresit, a(d)drest, adresst. [ME. adresse (c 1325), OF. adresser; later addresse, with assimilation of the prefix a- to ad-.]
