Ȝisternicht, Ȝesternicht, adv. (n.). Also: ȝistir-, yister-, yester- and -nycht, -nihtt, -night, -nyght, -neight. [ME and e.m.E. yister-, ȝister-, ȝusternight (all Cursor M.), ȝistyr nyȝt (Chaucer), yesternight (1546), OE ᵹystran and niht.]
