SWISHER, n. Also Swisser-. A Swiss, a native of Switzerland. Obs. Hence Swisserland, Switzerland. Almost obs.Sc. 1716 D. Warrand Culloden Papers (1925) II. 92:
Never were people mor oppressed with quartering of Sojores, not onlie having the Dutch and Swishers.
