ADÜMES, ADÜMS, adv. [ə′døms] In phr. “adümes o' mysell” = take myself for example, as in my case.Sh. 1877 G. Stewart Sh. Fireside Tales (1892) 11:
Soloman adümes o' mysell, in his young days cared little for idder kirk or minister.
Sh. 1914 Angus Gl. 9:
Adüms a me.
