ACRAG, n. (See quot.) [′akɹəg]Cai. 1914 T.S.D.C. 13:
A rick of sheaves such as can be built by the hand from the ground. It is pyramidal while the scrooag is of a beehive shape.

[Prob. dim. formed from acker, Gael. acair (both from Eng. acre), in Gael. = acre, rick of corn + dim. ending -ag. For acair see MacLennan.]
