    (2) Ordenare letters, lettres ordinar, a decree from one of the courts of `ordinary' jurisdiction, including that of the ecclesiastical `ordinary' (see ORDINAR n.1 1 b), as distinct from `letteres conforme' (LETTER n. 7 e) or `letters in the four formes' (LETTER n. 7 f) issued in support by the supreme court.
    (3) Applied to a judge having a regular and fixed jurisdiction as distinct from the supreme court and also from judges `in that part'; also applied to the jurisdiction of such a judge: see JUGE n. 6 b.
    (4) Applied to an ecclesiastical `ordinary' (ORDINAR n.1 1) or his authority or jurisdiction.
    (5) Applied to the regular lords of session as distinct from the `extraordinary' or `supernumerary' lords and to the `place' or office of such a lord of session; also applied to the lord of session who was taking his turn of sitting separately upon cases of first instance or `bills'.
