TRICKER, n.2 Sc. form of Eng. trigger, now dial., a spar of wood put through or under a cart(wheel) to brake it on a slope, a prop. In Sc. jocular usage: a wooden leg.Edb. 1844 J. Ballantine Gaberlunzie viii.:
