SLUPPER , n. Also slop(pe)r; sluppra, slopra. A soft sloppy substance (Sh, c.1870 E.D.D.), any wet mess, esp. slush, half-melted snow (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928). Sh. 1970). [′slʌpər]Sh. 1904 E.D.D.:
I never toght ta cross da vjelt every stramp ta da knee in sluppra.
